sunday shopping. . .

*deo not included

this is mainly the reason why i control myself to go home after work. i somehow hate spending but it gives me the hedonistic high. i get hypnotized by stuff with price tags on them especially those with SALE on them. i am not a big spender because im controlling my finances due to insurance, credit card, phone bills and savings. aside from that, i still have to set aside cash for my food, movies and the erks for the next 15 days... but i had reasons. i usually do impulsive spending on small stuff. i dont work on having to have expensive stuff, once in a while i indulge but very rarely. if its expensive id wait for 2-3 days, if it doesnt recur then i leave it, but if i go through the canvassing and comparing for the next 3 days then its probably a buy.

am not a fan of belts but since i have zero availability in my wardrobe, i got crazy, i left 1 behind = Php 520/$11.82
i only have 4 footsies for my closed flat shoes, what if i decide to wear them the whole week? = Php100 for 3/$2.27
i was browsing for office blouses, i got a plaid cut off instead = Php 625/$14.20
see thru pouch to organize chords= Php29.95/$0.68
i didnt need the deo but i tried it for switching purposes= Php79/$1.79
replacing an old brush that bent through the heat of blow dryer = Php 65/$1.47
total = Php1418.95/$32.23

im already in guilt but i need these. i knew i was already in a menacing situation for having to pass by the mall.

my saturday night life. . .

*courtesy of http://www.massagechairs.com

my sat life starts at 10:00a in the office. its a supposed half day work and yet, out of whim, im usually out around 5p. most of the time im just surfing the net in a relaxed mode. wearing ordinary shirt, clam digs and birken / flip flop.
if i make it, i attend an anticipated mass. if not, well be sauntering the insides of the mall with the bf or bffs with their bfs.
if not, the bf and i will be going out to dinner or watch a movie or get a massage or coffee after or a sat reggae band.
dinner and massage is what we did tonight. for Php350 = *$9 for a 1 hour foot reflex and 1 hour body massage. what a deal. . . . !!!

id usually choose the foot reflex because i feel ecstasy when fingers push deep in the tissues of the balls of my feet. for a moment, i was contemplating if i should punch the masseuse or let out a loud grunt when she pushed her fingers on the insides of my thighs. i was holding my hands and breath tightly to control it. i almost drooled in the dim lights of the room when she elbowed the sides of my spines *drools again*. it wasnt a whole lot of acrobat though it was a thai massage, it was fine, it was the relaxing moment i had asked for. to sync it all, closing time of semisonic played in my player to cap off my time.

*Php44.01 = $1

smells like my teen days. . .

*courtesy of eonline.

im not sure if i still wanna fan myself like i used to whenever i hear and talk about these guys. singing their songs while taking a shower, dance together with their videos and the cassette tape in the deck for constant play back. *ummm* smells like 80s spirit. reminiscent of my jumper and boots days, i didnt think i was in fashion at that time.
my girlfriend and i used to collect from magazines and we'd secretly exchange in a big envelope with a tag in front 'NKOTB'. id go to a bookstore that sells back issues so that it wouldnt hurt as much when cutting them out from their original leaf since i was buying it with my allowance.

its good to know i grew up normal by being a fan of these guys. but itll be weird making a comeback. its like old people watching and dancing in their concert....

feeling dessert @ 10pm...

***HK breakfast time.

courtesy of my friend, this pic has managed to give me a pang for a late snack and that got me started with junk food... tsk tsk tsk.. bad. ive been trying to keep off junk food and soda from my daily consumption due to its none content of nutritional value. ive been keen in what im eating mainly because i dont want to have much toxic in my body, i need to be healthy, and now with wider perspective, im doing a small bit of not adding to green house effect, its a long chain of event in the cows life to explain. but im sure there are those who choose to do the same, and thats still collective effort in truth.
ive been off pork for 6 years straight already. now im starting to be off from beef. due to limited availability of food for vegans around here, its a bit tough to go all the way. then ill try cutting off chicken and fish, which would take a bit shorter for the fish as anticipated since its not safe to eat it nowadays because of the chemical spills and dead bodies which became a buffet fit for the small gods. *chippy anyone?

***HK 2007.
this warning will confuse you, all the more it might cause traffic.
does this mean that all right turners should be careful to those making a left turn?
or is it that those making a right turn should be careful when making a right turn beacause there's an incoming left turners?
good luck....

pleasantries. . .

ive always been a movie junkie...i binge on movies especially independent and foreign films.
most of the short films from here, if i do get a chance to watch does make me proud. which unfortunately does not grow a pace where everyone enjoys a bit of it here and there. i got to watch series of Spanish indies, since it was like an homage to Spanish film that week.

A few of it I can remember watching:

Fernando Meirelles- CITY OF GOD

Pedro Almodovar's- TALK TO HER

AMORES PERROS
and Y TU MAMA TAMBIEN surprisingly did delighted a local movie house and it crawled into a cable network. it did go through dubbing for the tagalog viewers which i did not appreciate since it's not their real voice. i don' know, i'd rather read the subtitles than hearing tagalog voice overs. i had always liked reading subtitles...

BELLE EPOQUE springs high school memories. i remember our guy classmates strategizing on how to get in the cinema [which was known to show rated R movies] since the rating, if i could remember was rated R. the next day, they were talking about it. i guess thats how lax things are around here or its just that they did pass looking that old farts.

***then i realized the day after, i had done a similar entry on my previous blog site....

nth attempt...

this is my nth attempt to:

-create a blog: previous blogging site conked out

-exactly know the purpose of my blogging

-exercise my patience in writing

-stay up late by taking care of a blog site

-have a focus on my ill fated dismal days

-feel good about writing my thoughts and sharing it with the rest of the net-roes [just made that up]

-revive a debilitating sense of loosing street language from business related composition of words.
